Meshoppen Stone is one of the largest stone fabricators and haulers in the United States and, while the stone industry has grown in a variety of ways, they have used many of the following names to describe the stone they have delivered since they began over 50 years.
We would like to clarify one very important kind of stone for you before we get started. Pennsylvania Blue Stone, Pennsylvania Flagstone, PA Bluestone, Bluestone and in many cases we will simply refer to our Pennsylvania Bluestone as ‘Flagstone.’ Different categories of ‘Bluestone’ or ‘Flagstone’ are referred to as “full color,” “lilac or red” and “blue or select blue.”
